THE BACK BOOK

For this project, I chose to take photographs of people’s backs on the street while having a trip to the city of Nanjing in China. When I was reviewing my past works, those backs appeared in many images that I have made. I found it a unique way of taking street photos and decided to make a series of them. This project will not only create a new collection of street photography but also tell the audience about myself as a more introvert; when approaching strangers, we all have different ways. At the same time, this book studies how photography defines who I am.
